A terrible road accident took place on Pathankot Road in Jalandhar today on New Year’s Day, in which two youths died on the spot. The incident is said to have taken place at 11 am. According to the information received, there were five youths in the car, who were coming from Pathankot to Jalandhar. On the Pathankot-Jalandhar road, near Beas village, the car went out of control and hit the divider. The car crossed the divider and went to the other side and rammed into a truck going to Pathankot.
In the terrible accident, two young people were killed and three were seriously injured. In the accident, the wings of the vehicle were blown off, which is clearly visible in the pictures. The dead and injured have not been identified. With the help of people, the injured were immediately rushed to the hospital. The police have taken the bodies of both and kept them in Jalandhar civil hospital for identification and post-mortem.
