Sadar Police in Chamba district of Himachal has registered a case against a youth on the charge of getting white. Police have arrested the accused. SP Chamba Abhishek Yadav has confirmed the matter.
SP Yadav said that the SIU Chamba team was on patrol on Wednesday night. Meanwhile, a young man was stopped and searched near Ngodi on the basis of suspicion and 8.23 grams of crushed poppy was recovered from his possession. On questioning, the accused was identified as Akshay Kumar son of Chhotu Ram, resident of Mohalla Obari Post Office Sultanpur Tehsil and District Chamba. The police have registered a case against the accused under Section 21 of the NDPS Act.
