Blood samples will be taken from Mandi to Mohali by drone, trials will start in hospitals from January 3

To reduce the problems of the patients, the blood samples of the patients of Mandi district of Himachal will now be delivered by drone to the labs located in Chandigarh and Mohali. This exercise of sending samples through drones in the district will be started from January 3. After getting approval from the Mandi district administration, on Tuesday, the Jogindernagar administration will conduct a trial to deliver patient samples to Mohali by drone. This information has been given by Sarita Thakur, in charge of Karasna Lab of Civil Hospital Jogindernagar.

Giving information, Sarita Thakur said that work has started on the plan to send blood samples to the lab in Mohali by drone from Lal Bahadur Shastri Medical College located in Nerchowk of Mandi district. Digital technology is being used to provide faster and better healthcare facilities to patients. Along with this, he said that wherever Krasna Lab has started this exercise through drones as a trial across the country, it has been successful.
