Anchal, a class 11 student in Ludhiana, who went missing on her way home after giving papers from school, was strangled to death by her lover. The accused took her to his rented room. An argument broke out between the two and the accused strangled the student to death. After this, he threw the body in the fields through his three friends.
The police have arrested four accused on the basis of CCTV camera footage. A motorcycle and two mobile phones have been recovered from the possession of the accused. In this case, the police have registered a case against Prem Paswan, Ajit Kumar, Vikas Kumar and Neeraj Kumar, residents of Premi village Tapur in Anchal. All the accused were produced in court, from where they have been sent to two-day police remand.
