Former minister Sundar Sham Arora, who is in jail in a bribery case, has not got relief from the Punjab and Haryana High Court. During the previous hearing, the High Court had ordered the Punjab government to submit the status report of the case. A status report has been submitted by the state government. After this, former minister Sundar Sham Arora has not been able to get bail from the High Court. The High Court has adjourned the further hearing of the case till next week.
Earlier, Arora had filed a petition in Mohali court of Punjab for regular bail. The court rejected his petition and sent Arora to judicial custody. After this, Arora filed a petition for regular bail on November 11. While hearing this, the High Court ordered the Punjab government to finalize the status report.
