This is Google’s 14th investment in Reliance Jio. Also, this is the second largest investment, before this Facebook had invested 43 thousand crores.Reliance Industries has garnered a total of Rs 2.04 lakh crore since April by selling stake in Jio and the rights issue.
Google announced an investment of 75 thousand crore rupees in India on Monday. The investments will be make through equity investment, partnerships and operational infrastructure.
The company’s CEO Sundar Pichai says that the company is excited about the announcements related to India’s digitization. This announcement make at the Google for India event.
