Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) hit out at Congress leader Pratap Singh Bajwa’s statement and said that Pratap Singh Bajwa has once again presented his anti-Punjab side by speaking the language of ‘BJP’. He said that just as Shaktiman is Gangadhar, Pratap Bajwa is Pratap ‘BJP’. Addressing the press conference at the party office on Tuesday, Chief Spokesperson Malvinder Singh Kang said that on one hand the national leaders of the Congress talk about joining the country, increasing the powers of the states and strengthening the federal structure and on the other hand Pratap Singh Bajwa is favoring the Governor. Perhaps they have forgotten that by misusing the office of this governor, the BJP brought down the Congress governments in Arunachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Goa, Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka or did not allow the government to form despite having a majority.
Let it be known that Pratap Bajwa had said that Bhagwant Mann was administered the oath of office by the Governor of Punjab and now he refuses to consider him as the chief constitutionally. Bajwa said that Bhagwant Mann is saying that he is elected and the governor is selected. Bajwa said that now the approval of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha session also has to be given by the Governor but CM Mann does not consider the Governor as the head. He said that during the Congress rule, other governments came to the center but always maintained good relations with the Governor.
