Under this, small police stations will be provided two and large police stations will be provided with 5 alcometers. The police will get their delivery in the new year. Its aim is to prevent road accidents and fights. IGP Sukhchain Singh Gill has confirmed this. He said that Alkometers will be provided to police stations as per requirement.

Some time ago, the Home Department had ordered the installation of special checkpoints for drunk and driving near the marriage palaces in all the districts. Its results were very positive. Now a special plan has been made for 400 police stations of the state.
