In Jalandhar’s Latifpura, people are spending their nights in the cold after demolishing people’s houses in the name of demolishing illegal constructions. They have no food, children cannot go to school. The sick elderly are in a bad condition in the bitter cold. Meanwhile, Khalsa Aid workers have reached to help them. Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal also reached Latifpura last night to listen to the plight of the homeless people and assured them of all possible help.
Sukhbir Badal said that he has formed a committee to help the homeless people so that he can contact the affected people and learn about the problems they are facing. He said that the Akali Dal will take the advice of lawyers to take their side and provide legal assistance and will surely give them justice. He assured the victims that he would do all kinds of struggle for their rehabilitation.
