The case of a father and two minor daughters committing suicide in Gorakhpur has shocked everyone. When the father of the deceased Jeetendra saw his two granddaughters hanging on the fan and his son hanging from the fan of the other room, the ground slipped under his feet. The deceased Jeetendra was living with his aged father and two daughters Manya (16) and Manvi (14) in Gorakhpur’s Ghosipurwa Colony. The police have found a diary written by the elder girl Manya in this case. The diary has a complete description of what the family was going through.
Some of the pages of the diary are so emotional that the listener’s heart aches. In the diary, Manya has written about the struggle of her disabled father Jeetendra, how he used to operate a sewing machine with his prosthetic leg. The mother of both the girls died of cancer a few years ago.
