Punjab Government has launched an online ‘Ashirwad Portal’. Now girls will be able to take advantage of the scheme by sending an application to the government for financial assistance for marriage at home. On this occasion, Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur said that girls applying from this portal will get direct financial benefits in a fair and transparent manner.
Cabinet Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur said that till 2022 the application process of ‘Ashirwad Yojana’ will be kept in both online and offline mode but in January 2023 the benefit of this scheme will be made online only. He said that before this, many people used to show slips to them and say that they applied but did not get any benefit from the government scheme.
