Every day in the state some incident of disrespect comes to light. A similar unfortunate case came to light from Ferozepur’s Mahalam village, where Gutka Sahib was found lying on a dirt spot in the fields. Giving information in this regard, the Punjab President of the Respect Committee, Bhai Lakhvir Singh Mahalam, said that he came to know in the morning that the Gutka Sahib was lying in an empty place near the Gurdwara Sahib, after which when he went to the spot and saw Gutka Sahib was kept wrapped in a dirty place.
Seeing the Gutka Sahib in such a condition, he picked up the Gutka Sahib and brought it to the Gurdwara Sahib of the village according to etiquette and reported the matter to the local police station. On the other hand, S. reached the spot. P. D. Gurmeet Singh Cheema said that the police have started investigation after registering a case on the statements of the villagers.
