After the participation of BJP leaders from Haryana in Ram Rahim’s satsang, there has been a lot of uproar. On the other hand, Ram Rahim has given permission to build a new camp in Punjab’s Sunam, which may start a row in Punjab. The Sikh community is already angry with Ram Rahim.
In a virtual conversation, Ram Rahim introduced the Sangat of Sunam block of Sangrur district of Punjab on Thursday. Dera lovers have expressed their desire to convert the Sunam Naam Charsha Ghar to a Dera in front of Ram Rahim. Ram Rahim agreed to this and issued orders to the officials of the admin block.
Ram Rahim asked the lovers if there is a place to make a camp. The lovers said they would buy land around the Naam Charsha house. Ram Rahim accepted this. In such a situation, a camp will be formed in Punjab. Meanwhile, the lovers introduced a family member of Shaheed Udham Singh to Ram Rahim. By far the second largest Dera is at Salabatpura in Bathinda, Punjab, second only to the Sirsa headquarters in Haryana.
From Ram Rahim to the Dera managers, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been questioned in the Bargari case. The SIT wanted to bring Ram Rahim on a production warrant but the Punjab and Haryana High Court stopped it. After this, Punjab Police interrogated Ram Rahim in Sunaria Jail. In the year 2007, Ram Rahim wore a dress like Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji in Dera Salabatpura, which caused a controversy. Since then there has been a conflict between Dera lovers and sikhs.
