Prime Minister Narendra Modi will give jobs to 10 lakh youth in the next year and a half i.e. till December 2023. They will start this mega recruitment drive from October 22 on the day of Dhanteras i.e. before Diwali. 75000 people will be given appointment letters on this day. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister will also interact with these youths. This information has been given by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) itself.
According to the PMO, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reviewed the manpower in 38 ministries/departments in June this year, after which he announced that his government will provide 10 lakh jobs in the next one and a half years, i.e. by December 2023. All these recruitments are being conducted through UPSC, SSC, Railway Recruitment Board and other central agencies.
The Prime Minister’s Office said that 10 lakh jobs will be filled through 38 ministries and departments of the central government. At present there are 23584 vacancies in Group A (Gazetted) category, 26282 in Group B (Gazetted) category, 8.36 lakhs in Group C Non-Gazetted category.
Under this mega job drive of the Prime Minister, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Railways, Department of Posts, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Labor and Employment, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Customs and Banking, Armed Forces personnel, All the jobs will be given to youth selected from across the country in 38 departments including Inspector, Constable, LDC, Steno, PA and Income Tax Inspector.
Union Ministers from across the country will also participate in this programme. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan from Odisha, Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya from Gujarat, Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur from Chandigarh, Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal from Maharashtra, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav from Rajasthan, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman from Tamil Nadu, Industries Minister Mahindra from Uttar Pradesh. Pandey, Tribal Affairs Minister from Jharkhand Arjun Munda and Panchayati Raj Minister from Bihar Giriraj Singh will also be present.
