Why are there repeated fights in MCD? The matter can also go to court.

The confrontation between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is increasing over the election of six members of the Standing Committee, the most important body of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). During the voting in the night on Wednesday, there was a lot of uproar regarding the counting of votes on Friday. There was a fight between the councillors. Women’s hair was also pulled. 

Seven candidates are in the fray for the Standing Committee elections. Aam Aadmi Party has nominated Amil Malik, Raminder Kaur, Mohini Jinwal and Sarika Choudhary. BJP has fielded Kamaljeet Sehrawat and Pankaj Luthra. Independent councilor Gajendra Singh Daral, who joined BJP, is also a candidate. The real government is the Standing Committee in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Now the election of six members of the Standing Committee is to be held.
