It is being told that the price of petrol has now been increased to 272 rupees per liter in Pakistan. Apart from this, diesel prices have also been increased to Rs 280 per litre.
The decision to increase oil rates by the Shehbaz Sharif government came after the introduction of the new Supplementary Finance Bill in Parliament. In it, his government proposed to increase the GST to 18 percent, so that Pakistan can collect taxes of 170 billion rupees to deal with this economic crisis.
According to the media report, due to this decision of Shehbaz government, petrol prices in Pakistan increased to 22.20 rupees at once and its prices reached a record of 272 rupees per litre. According to the Finance Department of Pakistan, the price of kerosene oil in the country has now reached 202 rupees per liter.
