Pakistan blast, lack of blood in Peshawar hospitals, 83 dead so far, 157 injured

A medical emergency has been declared in the city of Peshawar in Pakistan after a suicide attack on a mosque on Monday. Due to the injuries of more than 150 people, there is a huge shortage of blood in the hospitals of the city. The hospital administration has appealed to people to donate blood. According to the information received, the death toll in this attack has reached 83.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Haji Ghulam Ali has also appealed for blood donation. An official said that the explosion was extremely powerful. Due to this, a part of the mosque collapsed. A large number of people died due to being buried under the debris. Police confirmed that there was a lack of security. Capital City police officer Mohammad Ijaz Khan said there were 300 to 400 police officers in the area at the time of the blast. It is clear from this that there has been a decrease in security. The attacker entered the four-tiered security mosque inside police lines.
