The news of fidayeen attack in Peshawar city of Pakistan has come out. According to the initial information, there has been an explosion inside the mosque built in the police lines. Many people have been killed in this attack. It is being told that 17 policemen have died so far. Also, 90 people are reported to be injured. Pakistan Army has surrounded the area.
According to Jakari, the explosion was very powerful and its sound was heard up to 2 kilometers away. People present in the police line say that clouds of dust and smoke arose after the explosion. After this, the sounds of firing started. According to eyewitnesses, around 500 to 550 people were present in the mosque at the time of prayer.
The attacker was present in the front row. It was not clear how the man reached the police line, as a gate pass is required to enter. The mosque has collapsed and many people are likely to be buried under its debris.
