After the weather was clear in Himachal this morning, clouds started gathering in the sky in the afternoon. The Met department has once again issued a yellow alert for heavy snowfall tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. On the other hand, on January 30, there may be heavy rain at some places in Kangra, Bilaspur and Shimla.
Due to the recent snowfall in the state, 178 roads including 4 national highways and 238 electric transformers are still closed. People’s traffic is affected due to road congestion. 32 roads are closed in Chamba district, 2 in Kangra, 10 roads including 2 NH in Kullu, and 5 roads in Shimla district. Because of this, bus service could not start on more than 90 routes even on Saturday. 115 of these roads have been closed for more than a month.
