The Central Government has decided to suspend all activities of the Wrestling Federation of India until an Oversight Committee is formally appointed. This includes suspension of ongoing ranking competitions and refund of entry fees for competitors for ongoing activities, the government said.
The Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) has rejected all the allegations against its president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, including sexual harassment, saying that there is no scope for ‘tyranny and mismanagement’ in the sports organization.
