In view of January 26, the police is on full alert. The State Special Operation Cell has received a report that the Babbar Khalsa International Organization can carry out terrorist incidents in Punjab. The cell has registered a case under Sections 17, 19, 20 of the Unlawful Activities Amendment Ordinance 2004, Section 120B of the IPC and Section 25 of the Arms Act. Jaggu Bhagwanpuria’s name is also among those on whom the case has been registered.
According to the report, the intention of the suspects is to create terror by carrying out target killing and other violent incidents in the whole of India including Punjab. That is why Jaggu Bhagwanpuria and Parhat Singh are engaged in supplying youths and weapons. Amrit Bal and Darman Kahlon are helping them. SSOC recently arrested three members of Amritpal Singh, Yuvraj Singh of Amritsar, Nishan Singh of Tarn Taran and Jaspal Singh of Ludhiana.
