Earthquake shocks were felt in Pithoragarh of Uttarakhand on Sunday morning. Its magnitude has been measured at 3.8 on the Richter scale. According to the National Center for Seismology, the tremors were felt at 8.58 am on Sunday morning. The epicenter of the earthquake was 23 km northwest of Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand.
The intensity of the earthquake in Pithoragarh was not very high according to the Richter scale, but the earthquake of only 3.8 magnitude has scared the people there. In fact, the people of Uttarakhand have become more alert than before amid the incidents of landslides in Joshimath of Uttarakhand.
