A 21-year-old Punjabi student died in a road accident in Australia, the car rammed into a truck

A young man from Hoshiarpur died in a horrific car accident in Canberra, Australia. Kunal Chopra, who went to Australia on a student visa, was returning from work at around 7am last week when his car collided with a concrete pumping truck on William Howell Drive in Canberra. Preliminary investigation Mutbak Kunal’s car came from the wrong side of the road and rammed into the truck on the way. Kunal was declared dead on the spot.

Cousin Honey Malhotra, who lives with him in Canberra, told SBS Punjabi that we were shocked to hear of his death, his family is also broken by his death. Honey said they are making arrangements to send Chopra’s body to his family in India. Friend and community representative Gurpreet Singh Gill said that we are in touch with Kunal’s family and the Indian High Commission, which is helping to bring his body back to India.
