2015 batch IAS officer Ashika Jain has been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner of Mohali. He replaced Amit Talwar. Jain, BA, LLB (Hons) from National Law University (2014), and Masters in Public Management from JNU, previously served as Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Mohali in 2020. In fact, the Punjab government has today issued orders for transfers of 10 IAS and 3 PCS officers. Apart from these, the DCs of two districts have also been changed. Mohali DC Amit Talwar has been given the charge of Director Sports and Youth Services. Jalandhar (Urban Development) ADC Anshika Jain has been appointed as Mohali DC in his place.
