5 workers died on Monday morning in the sheller of village Chatha Nanhera in Sangrur district of Punjab. While an unconscious laborer has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. It is being told that this accident happened due to suffocation due to the smoke coming out of the stove. All the workers who were victims of the accident are from Bihar and are said to be related to each other.
The incident came to light when the workers who arrived at the sheller knocked the door of the workers’ room. When no one gave any answer for a long time, then people broke the door and looked. All the workers were found unconscious in the room. After which the employees present at the spot informed the police about this. On the information of the accident, FSL experts have also reached along with the local police.
