One Nihang Singh has been shot dead in Wahipur village of Tarn Taran. It is being told that this incident took place when Nihang Singh was returning from offering obeisance to Guru Ghar. The assailants also fired shots at Nihang Singh’s son, who has sustained serious injuries and has been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Regarding this incident, the wife of the deceased Nihang Singh said that her husband had gone from home to offer obeisance to Guru Ghar as usual and when he was returning home, the people of the village shot at him due to mutual enmity. It is being told that before this incident, the said persons had an argument with Nihang Singh. On getting the information about the dispute, his boy studying in class 10 also reached the spot.
