Major decisions regarding education are being taken by the government led by CM Bhagwant Mann in Punjab. Meanwhile, another big decision has been taken by the Hon’ble government. Taking a major decision, the Mann government has announced the addition of another new chapter in the school syllabus. In which the children will be taught about the farmers’ movement. The farmers’ movement, which lasted for about one and a half years, shaking the roots of the central government, will be included in the curriculum of the Punjab School Education Board schools.
In this regard, the education minister said that the Kisan movement is an important part of the current history. In fact, teachers’ associations have been demanding to make this struggle a part of the syllabus for a long time.
