Rakesh Tikait, national spokesperson of Bharatiya Kisan Union, said that a tractor march will be held across the country on January 26. Before this, there will be a Mahapanchayat of farmers from all over the country in the month of January in Jind. He had arrived in Bathinda on Wednesday to attend a function. Here Tikait said that the manager of the liquor factory running in Zira of Punjab should either improve or else the factory will remain closed. In Jira, all the farmers’ organizations are united and protesting against the liquor factory and the government.
He said that in many places in the country there will be farmers’ movement like Zira. If the state and central government do not pay attention, then the said movement will be on a large scale. Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait said that tractor march will be held across the country on 26 January 2023. Before that, there will be a big Mahapanchayat of farmers from all over the country in the month of January in Jind.
Tikait said that the central government did not provide permanent employment to the people in the country. Due to this, the central government started the Agniveer Yojana to show the people of the country. This scheme is only for displaying one record. The central government is cheating the countrymen. On the demands of the Delhi Kisan Andolan, Tikayat said that they are still discussing with all the farmers before starting the agitation against the central government.
