A terrible fire broke out in a junk warehouse located on Dhuri Line in Punjab’s Ludhiana district late at night. Seeing smoke coming out of the warehouse, the local residents immediately informed the owner. This warehouse was hired to store junk.
The flames were visible from a distance. Immediately after seeing the flames, the warehouse owner and the people living nearby started trying to put out the fire by pouring buckets of water, but the fire could not be controlled. After which the incident was reported to the fire brigade and the police. According to the owner of the warehouse, goods worth lakhs of rupees were burnt to ashes.
