Same-sex marriage will now be legal in America. After receiving approval from both houses of the United States, President Joe Biden signed the ‘Gay Marriage Bill’ at the White House ceremony and sealed it. Recently, the House of Representatives, the lower house of the American Parliament, has given the final approval to the bill providing protection to same-sex marriages. It had already been approved in the upper house of the Parliament ‘Senate’. Thus this bill became law.
After signing the same-sex marriage bill, Joe Biden tweeted, “Today is a great day. Today America has taken another step in the direction of equality. These are steps towards freedom and justice, not just for some, but for all. Because today I have signed the Marriage Bill.
