The name of the Chief Minister has been announced after a long campaign in Himachal Pradesh. Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu will be the new CM of the state. His name has been announced in the Congress Legislature Party meeting. Along with him, Mukesh Agnihotri from Pratibha Singh’s camp has been made Deputy CM. The oath-taking ceremony will be held tomorrow at 11 am. Therefore, Congress Legislature Party Leader Sukhwinder Sukhu will meet the Governor and seek time.
In Himachal Pradesh, only after the election results came out on December 8, the confusion about the CM continued. Former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh’s wife Pratibha Singh was also contesting for CM in the Congress which won 40 seats. However, after the referendum from the MLAs, Sukhwinder Sukhu came out ahead in this race. The Congress high command also stamped his name.
