Union Home Minister Ajay Mishra Ten’s son Ashish Mishra has suffered a setback. In the Lakhimpur Khiri case, the court has dismissed the application to acquit them. Charges will be framed against Ashish Mishra tomorrow. Ashish is accused of crushing 4 farmers and a journalist with a vehicle.

On October 3 last year, Ashish Mishra, allegedly driving a Mahindra Thar, crushed 4 farmers and a journalist who were protesting against 3 agricultural laws in Lakhimpur Khiri. A few days later he was arrested. After the Supreme Court intervened after the police and the administration were accused of slowness in the investigation, the court ordered an investigation in this matter.

Let us tell you that on October 3 last year, 8 people were killed during the violence in Lakhimpur Khiri. The violence took place when farmers were protesting the visit of Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya to the area. According to the Uttar Pradesh Police report, a vehicle in which Ashish Mishra was sitting crushed four farmers. After the incident, the angry farmers allegedly thrashed the vehicle driver and two BJP workers to death.
