MP from Sri Anandpur Sahib and former Union Minister Manish Tiwari has written a letter to Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav regarding the death of 3 children in the train accident at Lohand Bridge near Sri Kiratpur Sahib. In this, they have demanded to register a case of involuntary manslaughter in the matter and to give compensation to the victim’s families.
MP Manish Tiwari said that he wanted to draw their attention to the painful accident. 3 innocent children, 7 years old Mohinder, 8 years old Vicky and 11 years old Rohit were killed and one child was seriously injured in this accident which took place on November 27 at 11:30 in the morning. He said that the children’s families are poor living in slums. There is a lot of anger among them about the lack of security arrangements on the railway line.
