The Sub-Division Electricity Corporation office in Panipat celebrated in a unique way when the electricity bill was high. Suman, a 65-year-old woman living in Sant Nagar, has an electricity bill of 21 lakh 89 thousand rupees for her 60-yard house, after which she played the drum in the electricity corporation and brought sweets for the officials. The old woman says that she does not have money to pay the bills and she is now going to sell her house for which she has played drums in the corporation. Suman lives alone in her 60 yard house and works as a laborer in a Mittal factory.
In 2019, the electricity bill of Suman, a resident of Sant Nagar, suddenly came to Rs 12 lakh, while last month she had paid the entire bill. Suman told that he does not have 12 lakh rupees. Due to which she could not pay the bill and interest is being charged continuously on this bill.
