According to the Meteorological Department, the cold will increase in Punjab in the coming days. Pathankot and Jalandhar were the coldest on Wednesday. Where the temperature was 5.4 degrees Celsius. For the first time in the season, the minimum temperature has come down to this low. Fog was also seen in these two districts in the morning. Due to which the visibility was very low.

Apart from this, due to snowfall in many areas of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal, the cold has increased in the plains. Nights in Punjab have become colder than Himachal Pradesh. In Himachal Pradesh’s Shimla, the minimum temperature is around 8 degrees, while in many cities of Punjab, the temperature has gone below six degrees.
