Bathinda murder case, brother-in-law turned out to be the killer, both of them had court marriage

Sukhpal Singh, the accused in the case of killing a woman by shooting outside the district court complex of Bathinda on Friday evening, has been arrested. The arrested accused is the nephew of the woman and both of them got married in the court. The young man killed the woman due to a mutual dispute. At present, it is not known about the other partner of the accused.

The accused is a criminal type person, against whom more than 13 cases are registered in different police stations. The accused used his partner’s licensed revolver for the crime. IG Surinderpal Singh Parmar said that the owner of the revolver will also be named in the case.

IG Surinderpal Singh Parmar said on Saturday that the woman Kulwinder Kaur had a court marriage with her nephew Sukhpal Singh after the death of her husband. Later the two got into a fight. On Friday, Kulwinder Kaur had come to Bathinda for some work and was standing outside the court. Meanwhile, Sukhpal Singh came to Kulwinder with one of his companions. In the meantime, there was another quarrel between the two. After which Sukhpal shot and killed Kulwinder.
