A bus carrying 35 passengers from Punjab to Delhi caught fire, burnt to ashes

A stampede broke out in the early hours of Saturday near Patti Kalyana village on National Highway 44 when a tourist bus caught fire. The bus was going from Ludhiana to Delhi. About 35 passengers saved their lives by jumping from the bus. According to the information received, bus number UP-22T-9904 was going from Ludhiana in Punjab to Delhi. When the bus reached Samalkha on NH-44 at 5.45 am, the driver saw smoke rising from the bonnet, so he immediately stopped the bus on the highway side and told all the passengers.The passengers out on time but the bus caught fire.

Balwinder Singh, a resident of Ludhiana, said that he works as a bus driver. According to the driver, the cause of the fire is being said to be a short circuit in the wires. As soon as the information about the accident was received, the police force immediately reached the spot.
