The central government has appreciated the many initiatives of the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for providing quality health facilities. The Government of India regularly monitors the progress of the National Health Mission (NHM) in the states through various means. In the review of the Common Review Mission (CRM) conducted every year, the Center team has appreciated the work of Aam Aadmi Clinics.
Under this, a team of government officials, public health experts, representatives of development stakeholders and civil society organizations conduct regional visits to various states. The purpose of CRM is to evaluate the implementation of programs from the people’s perspective. Deputy Director General of Ministry of AYUSH, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Dr. A. A 16-member 15th Common Review Mission team headed by Raghu visited the state from November 4 to 11.
