A 7-year-old student was found unconscious in the bathroom of a primary school located in village Sunet in Ludhiana. The school staff has admitted him to Dayanand Medical College. The student is on ventilator. After the holiday, when the son did not reach home, his mother reached the school looking for him. On reaching the school, he came to know that the son has been admitted to Raghunath Hospital. Sarabha Nagar police reached the spot and started investigation. The student has been identified as Muhammad Mahfuz. Mahfuz is a student of class II.
According to the school staff, the boy went to the bathroom in the afternoon. When he did not return, the school staff started looking for him. They found him unconscious in the bathroom and took him to the hospital. After seeing his condition, the doctors referred him to DMCH. School teacher Harjit Singh said that he was present in his office. Meanwhile, a teacher Harpreet Kaur told them about the student. He took her to the hospital and paid the hospital bills from his own pocket.
