Fake Interpol officer arrested in Ludhiana, remanded for 4 days, fake ID card also recovered

A fake Interpol officer has been caught during the blockade outside the Civil Hospital in Ludhiana. The accused has been remanded to the police for 4 days. The accused is a resident of Abdullahpur Basti in Ludhiana. When the accused asked for the car documents, he started abusing the policemen. The accused started identifying himself as an Interpol officer.

When the police asked for his ID card, he showed a wallet-shaped ID card. The police got suspicious. When the ID card of the accused was checked, it did not have the signature of the Interpol officer. When the accused was taken to the police station for questioning, the matter was revealed. The accused has been identified as Randhir Singh, a resident of Abdullahpur Basti. The police recovered the Kigar vehicle, fake Icard of Interpol agency, foreign and Indian currency.

ACP Ramjit Singh Bhullar and SHO Arshpreet Kaur said that when the car of the accused was stopped, he started speaking angrily. He identified himself as an Interpol officer but this was revealed after investigation. Remand has been obtained from the court, the accused is being interrogated as to where he has used these fake identity cards and what are his motives. Accused Randhir Singh has a house in Jagatpur Philore. The accused used to update Ludhiana daily.
