Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has claimed that the cases of stubble burning in Haryana are not even 10 percent as compared to Punjab. Haryana does not even have 10 percent cases of stubble burning as compared to Punjab.
Last year there were 2,561 incidents of stubble burning, while this year it has come down to 1,925 while 13,873 incidents have taken place in Punjab this year. CM Khattar further said that he has also appealed to Punjab about stubble burning and the pollution caused by it. He said that NGT has given instructions to Punjab. We have also appealed to them that the pollution will not stay in one state but will spread to many states.
