2 crore cash recovered from luxury vehicles on the Punjab-Himachal border, the cash was filled in cardboard boxes

At the RTO barrier located on the Punjab-Himachal border on Saturday afternoon, the police recovered cash worth Rs 2 crore from a luxury vehicle bearing Chandigarh number. According to the drivers of the vehicle, he was going to Jammu and Kashmir from Chandigarh. However, the said person could not give any satisfactory answer regarding the cash, due to which the Damtal Police has taken possession of the vehicle and the cash and started the investigation.

All cash is in 500 and 2000 notes. The police did videography and counted the cash through the machine. SP reached the spot. Nurpur Ashok Ratna said that in view of the elections, the RTO barrier was put up. Police stopped an Isuzu car coming from Jalandhar side.
