In Punjab’s Jalandhar, the police have arrested a rogue travel agent who cheated people of lakhs of rupees in the name of sending them abroad. Instead of sending people abroad, this agent was trying to escape abroad with his son by cheating, but was caught at the Delhi airport.
Delhi Police has informed Jalandhar Police about the agent caught at the airport. In fact, a case of fraud of 32 lakhs was registered in 2018 against the arrested rogue agent Babbi in Maksoud police station in the name of sending him abroad. After the case of fraud was registered, the police conducted several raids to nab Babi and her son, but the police were unable to find their hands.
Both the father and son were hiding here and there after grabbing 32 lakhs. When both the father and son did not come to the hands of the police, the police suspected that they might have fled abroad. The police issued a look out notice against both the father and son.
