Throwing light on the reforms related to the army by the central government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that inclusion of women officers will give strength to the country. Prime Minister Modi, who reached Kargil to celebrate Diwali with the soldiers, said that for me you have been my family for all these years. It is a matter of fortune for me to celebrate Diwali with my brave soldiers in Kargil.

PM Modi said that in the last 8 years, we have emphasized on implementing reforms in the army. We have opened avenues for women to join the army. Women power will strengthen our armed forces. The inclusion of women officers under the Standing Commission will result in the development of our power.

He said that the army is the cornerstone of the defense and security of the country. A nation is secure when its borders are secure. The economy is strong and society is full of confidence. India wants this festival of light to pave the way for world peace. He said that the army is protecting the borders, so every citizen of India sleeps peacefully.

PM Modi said that the way you are protecting us on all the borders, we are working to fight evils like terrorism, Naxalism, corruption within the country. ‘Naxalism’ had captured a large part of the country. But today this momentum is weakening.
