The air in 7 major cities of Haryana has become so bad that the Air Quality Index (AQI) has crossed 300. In view of the deteriorating conditions, the Haryana Government has implemented the Phase Two guidelines of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP).
Along with this, instructions have been given to use anti-smog guns at construction sites. According to the forecast issued by the Commission for Air Quality Management (CQAM) regarding the Air Quality Index (AQI) in the NCR region, the pollution level is likely to cross 300 by October 22. Therefore, Phase Two guidelines of Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) for pollution control have been implemented in the NCR region.
