Voting for the Congress President election tomorrow from 10 am to 4 pm, the results will come on October 19

The preparations for the voting to be held on Monday for the post of Congress president have been completed. 68 booths have been set up at 40 centers across the country where voting will take place from 10 am to 4 pm. There are about 9800 voters for the post of Congress President who will vote for one of the two candidates Mallikarujan Kharge and Shashi Tharoor. CWC members including Sonia Gandhi, Manmohan Singh, Priyanka Gandhi will vote in the booth built in the Congress headquarters.

A booth has been set up at the Bharat Joko yatra camp where Rahul Gandhi and around 40 voters will vote. Mallikarujan Kharge in Bangalore and Shashi Tharoor will vote at the Pradesh Congress office in Thiruvananthapuram. After the voting, the ballot boxes will be brought to Delhi where the votes will be counted and the results announced on October 19 at the party headquarters. The election for the post of Congress president is going to be held after 22 years and after nearly 24 years, it has been decided to leave the leadership of the party from the Gandhi family.
