NO CORRUPTION OR EMBEZALMENT WILL BE TOLERATED IN FCI : JUNEJA

Food Corporation of India (FCI) govt. of India has constituted a new Consultative Committee for the state of Punjab. It will make recommendations for smooth & honest working for FCI`s procurement, distribution quality, storage & transit losses of food grains.

Ashok Kumar Juneja has been appointed as advisor & member of the Consultative Committee for the the State of Punjab. This prestigious Consultative Committee is one member of Parliament from Punjab/UT as nominated by Central Govt. , Secretary to the State Govt./UT administration dealing with food & civil supplies & such other officers as nominated by the State govt./UT administration, General Manager of the FCI in the capacity of member Secretary & such non official member as may be nominated by Central govt.

Mr. Juneja, who had served the Ludhiana Improvement Trust with honesty & with devotion said that such type of corrupt measures will not be tolerated at all. The system of public distribution of FCI will be adopted in such a manner that the benefit of welfare scheme operated by state or Central Govt. actually reach to the Antojoday, BPL, APL facilities & other poor persons.

Mr. Juneja, while addressing a meeting of Industrialists in Ludhiana said that last month CBI raided “Chandigarh Industrial Area Manager, Gagan Negi” and “dealer, Ravinder Singh Banti” in the case of Rs. two Lac “Bribe case” in sale-purchase of rice. CBI also raided & seized so many incrementing documents at Chandigarh, Zirakpur & Amritsar. This trend will be kept continued in FCI to stop corruption.
