In India’s financial capital Mumbai, petrol is inching towards Rs. 107-mark, currently priced at Rs. 106.93 a litre while diesel rates have increased to Rs. 97.46 per litre.
After a brief hiatus of one day, oil retailers again increased fuel prices on Saturday across India. Petrol prices are already above the ₹ 100-mark across six metro cities while diesel retails at an all-time high. With the latest hike, petrol has now surpassed the psychological mark of ₹ 100 per litre in few more cities. Petrol prices in Delhi jumped by 35 paise from ₹ 100.56 a litre to ₹ 100.91 a litre while diesel is priced at ₹ 89.88 a litre, after a hike of 26 paise.
