Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau reacted on the peasant movement

Canada stands in defense of the right to hold peaceful demonstrations…

The response of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has now come to the ongoing farmers’ movement in the country. A video of him has surfaced, in which Trudeau is seen saying that ‘Canada is always standing in defense of peaceful protesters’. Defending the agitated farmers’ movement against the three new agricultural laws of the Modi government at the Center, Trudeau said that ‘the situation is worrying’.

Trudeau, who attended an online program on the 551st birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, said in his statement, ‘The news of the farmers’ movement is coming from India. The situation is worrisome and we are all concerned about our family and friends. I know there are many such people. I want to remind you that Canada stands in defense of the right to hold peaceful demonstrations.

Justin Trudeau becomes the first foreign leader to react to the peasant movement. Let us know that farmers from many states including Punjab have gathered on the borders of Delhi. Their protest has been going on for the last six days. This is the biggest agitation of farmers in the last few years. Their demand is that they should be allowed to go to Ramlila Ground in Delhi and protest against the new agricultural laws.
