Karnataka bans firecrackers before Diwali due to Corona epidemic

Karnataka has also joined the list of states that have banned firecrackers before Deepawali amid the Corona epidemic. State CM BS Yeddyurappa said that due to the corona virus epidemic, firecrackers have been banned. Significantly, poor air quality has a profound effect on people’s health, especially when the corona virus is adversely affecting the lungs.

Experts believe that poor air quality further increases the risk to those who are already suffering from various diseases. The corona virus has severe effects on the breathing system. Speaking to reporters, CM Yeddyurappa said, ‘We discussed this and are taking a decision to ban firecrackers on this Diwali.’

It was discussed and the order is being issued. This is being done because of Covid-19. Significantly, after the banning of firecrackers on  Odisha, Delhi and Rajasthan, BJP ruled states took a similar decision.The Health Minister of Karnataka said on Thursday that firecrackers can harm those who are infected with the Corona virus, and urged people not to fire crackers on this Diwali.
